About The Author

Colleen was born in Trinidad, West Indies.  She spent most of her childhood there until moving to Brooklyn, New York when she was twelve.

Colleen is the author of several children's  picture books; I Can't Wait Til I'm Five, Mom, I Fired the Babysitter! Living With Mom Spending Time With Dad and Don't You Wish Your Momma Could Cook Like Mine?

Her books are based on real life events of her two boys, Stephen and Alex.  The books are prosed in a rhyming scheme which makes it fun for reading.  The end of each story features a reading exercise for readers to consider their own similar experiences, and test their reading and listening comprehension.

She has also produced a CD titled Hilariously, Alex that features song titles of her current books and upcoming books.

Colleen currently resides in Connecticut and is working on several projects such as: Are The Books Chasing Me?, The Bake off! I Think I'll Make A Cake Today, and Hilariously, Alex ! Kidscapades.
